    barn, i love this quilt. thanks for much for the close ups. the borders really set it off. don't you just love the log cabin. i don't know of another more versitile block. the layout you chose is lovely.

    This turned out absolutely beautiful, great job, anxious to see it quilted. Kayaking on the lake is a quilt pattern? My lights are on but nobody is home :roll:

    bluebird--the pattern in the magazine is called "Shadows on the Pond." I blued it up (have you ever seen blue used as a verb?) and changed the name. :wink:

    thanks mamaw. It's at the quilters getting sunflowers quilted on it in cream thread. My quilter estimated its value at $1000-$1200. She said the Mennonites never have backs looking that good. :wink:
