I have received both sets of FQs, and they are all beautiful!

The second set is from Trippgal

Both ladies were very generous in sending extras as well. The baggie from Trippgal contains her special dark chocolate w/montorency cherries.

Sewellie what a treat! and you didn't even play this month!!! lucky girl
Lauriejo what a great combo of fabrics you got both your players sent you brights wow you have to make something with them now for sure! quickly! take a pic! I cant decide which I love more.. the brights or the browns and creams which really always talk to me when I am in a quilt store. I think of 100 uses for those for sure.
This month is such a warm beautiful fabric choice. I love when batiks go flying around. its all .. HUNGA DUNGA! I NEED THAT!!!

Well I fell in love with the quilt banners from the Sochi Olympics, and thought I might try the Hoffman bali met sochi quilt. I mentioned that to both my partners and they sent me wonderful fabrics. Then I found these two patterns and now I'm torn!

I received lovely fqs from NancyW. I pm'd her a big thanks! She should've received mine, but I haven't heard.
My dh fell at work towards the end of his 4-midnight shift a week ago (4-5). It was raining, windy, cold..He broke his his femur. At the ER a week ago they did CT scan and xray, said no break, sent us home. Well he hobbled about on it for 4 days until I insisted on an MRI, as I knew something was wrong, and my dh is not a complainer...
2 hrs after MRI we were at the Orthopedic Surgeon's. He was astonished and unhappy about it all. He immediately admitted us to hospital, put hubby to bed rest to decrease chance fracture would displace more until he could operate.
Surgery Thursday evening, hubby has a titanium rod and screws in place now. Officially called an Intramedullary Femoral Nailing.
We came home last night. Hubby is hanging in there. My Mom's feet were swollen, her breathing terrible, so started her on COPD exacerbation protocol here at home.
My Lupus started flaring (expected with everything). I got dh and Mom settled in their rooms, started laundry, sat down alone and had a good cry...
Thanks for listening, and any prayers are appreciated.
