Hmmm... we never did brown.

As for a 2.5 strip, not my thing but that is no worries. I need to focus on my MIL.

I could go for a 2.5" strip trade, I'm having a blast with all these pre-cuts. Makes popping a quick quilt together a snap.

I agree thata we have not done browns but that may not be enticing for many people. The bright colors have had higher participation. Strips sound fun too ….. so much can be done with those. I'm just glad to participate.

The only question I have about strips is, will we need to buy yardage or already have yardage in order to do 2 1/2 x wof? I have many more fat quarters than yardage cuts, although if it were just strips, without another qualifier, I have more yardage I could “shop” from.

has the group done lights or darks before?

Pamela, I'm not really sure which to do, if any at all regarding the strips. I'll have to stew on that one for a bit and see if there's more interest.

We have not done "lights vs. darks", nor have we done brown. I did have one request to start over on the list and do another round of each one, but I'm not sure on that one, too.

Hm....what to do, what to do....

Browns sound good as does stripes, any color or colors. Also starting over. 2 1/2" Strips are questionable. If the fabric you are cutting is not straight you will get a wavy stripe. Also have you considered a vote?
