    I think this is called a nine patch without the strips bet tween. Like it alot. I want to do one like it too. I'm just beginning. I need a quilt class just to get started again. I must not have learned right the first time, or does anyone else have this trouble with confidence?

    That's a cool looking quilt and that's a good idea about cutting those extra 4" blocks to save for future use.
