I love your older fabrics. They are just perfect for this quilt. I have quite a few of these fabrics hanging out in my stash, inherited from my wonderful aunt's stash!

I have so many different scraps in my stash! My family (including extended) always pick up scraps at garage and estate sales, and from friends, etc. I am trying to use them up on this project. Thanks for all the positive feedback!

It's Thanksgiving Break for me and I have 5 days off. My family had Thanksgiving on Nov. 13 to accommodate my daughter and her family coming in from Mass. For the next five days, I'm off and only quilting, quilting, quilting.

I'm starting my run on catching up with the FWS. By the end of Christmas Break, I should be caught up! The foolish wish, of course, is to hope that I get ahead. My goal was 2 blocks a day.

Here it is 2 p.m. on Day 1 and I have 2 blocks finished with more time to quilt! Of course I spent Tuesday and Wednesday evening printing out templates and cutting pieces for the next six blocks which why these two went so quickly.

    Here are my 15 & 16:

Thanks Jan. You're always so sweet. I notice that you are always commenting and complimenting people on their blocks. What a nice quality!

Thanks! I'm really pleased with them. I haven't done a quilt in these colors, but I'm very happy with them.

gorgeous! Your Calico Puzzle is my favorite so far . . . I love plaids and think it adds great character to this block. Nice job!
