    We are also thinking about replacing carpets that have been down for about 30 years. I am dreading it because it is going to be a mess around here. Ours will be an office, bedroom, and my studio. Question, did you go for a low loft carpet? I am thinking that a low loft, industrial style would make it easier to pick up pins and needles, and easier to roll around on. What do you think?

    If I was to take out carpet.. I would put laminate or hardwood floors.. when you see what is living under your carpets you might too;).. it is so nice to have wood floors ..
