Every Sunday morning the family(anywhere from 10 to 15 of us) meets for breakfast at the local Denny's. And most Sundays we have a "swap meeting" after in the parking lot, someone always having something they don't need and knowing one of us could most likely use it. DSL usually brings me magazines and books. Today my Dear DML found some fabric she had stuffed in her craft room closet. She had forgotten about it and knowing that I am now a Quilter, she thought I would like it. She has givin me batting and yarn previously. I knew I loved my mother-in-law for something. She is wonderful!

I'm so new at this sewing thing that I am ashamed to say I don't know one fabric from another. The selvage has Dianna Marcus for Marcus Brothers Textile.

Nope not a homespun, you can see the color registration dots in the selvedge from printing. Although it is a very nice plaid that will go with a lot of different things.

What a nice surprise this must have been for you.
