whew! what a job!! what started out as a good gesture of friendship and love turned into havoc as thread kept breaking over and over while quilting and looping in the back and then BLAM! the needle slammed down on top of the plastic piece on the bottom of the foot. not only did it snap the needle, it completely sheared the foot from the arm of the quilting foot!! i was heartsick! the next morning my bestie told me she was making the long haul 70 miles to the 'big city' so i had one and finally got it finished! did i tell you the cat loved to play with the little squares? :) all done and gifted, just wanted to share. i bought the jar from icon17 and the fabric was lovely!! (yes, small plug there, she deserves it, her jars are yummy enough to eat!) shauna is very happy with it, and only needs to add the buttons on for decoration as i was out. plus she has fabric to spare to play around with with her new machine hiding under the cover!! have a great day
