This is a scrappy Star Quilt. I started out with 8, 4 1/2" cut squares of scraps. Then 1 center square is 4 1/2" for the star. Then 8, 2 1/2" squares to make the points on the star. It is so easy.

Thanks for sharing this.... I just happen to have a bunch of 4 1/2" assorted color squares already cut. Was wondering what I could do with them.... Now I know!! ;-)
