haven't been part of a message board in ages. search engined and saw how active you are!
I'm Pat (patricialc) I've been quilting on and off for 36 years.
am married 20 years no children (by design not choice) 1 dog 2 cats.
I am blessed to work fulltime for a wonderful boss in a quilt shop going on 1 year 7 months... and the answer is !!!! I do take most of my check home. food trumps fabric! :)
I do tell my boss she is evil for the beautiful fabric that she chooses ( covet alot of it :) anyway that is the basics. everyone have a peaceful day.

Hi and welcome from Southern California! You have the job my family FORBIDS me to have!! I am retired here in the US (but not old enough - yet- to start collecting the measley Social Security that's waiting for me!) but own a restaurant overseas. I wanted to get a job when we moved back here about 1 1/2 years ago in a quilt shop, but they laid down the law--so, now I don't work!! Teach them to tell me I can't work in a quilt shop!
