It would be a fun child's quilt, but I think they would be very tempted to play with all of the nooks and crannies LOL
I would stitch it a little better than normal, shorter stitches to make sure it stays together

How old a child? If the child is old enough not to eat the flowers then I think it would be great! I do agree w/amma, stitching the flowers w/smaller stitches would ensure that they would stay better. It looks like a fun quilt to make & have.

I made a quilt very much like that. The flowers didn't stay folded when I washed it. I was very disappointed. I have a book with Orgami style quilts and they are very pretty. I don't think I would make it for a young child, they could get little
fingers caught or pull the folded parts out. It would be alright for an older child.

I think it might be a fun quilt but I don't think I would make it for a bed, because I don't image the fabric stays folded as nice as prior to washing.

This would be a great quilt for a child using different textures.

I don't think it would hold up under all of the laundering. I wonder if it was designed for a wallhanging?I's sure cute though.

not sure if it would be good for a small child unless it's a wall hanging, but it is so cute and is now on my "to do" list
