Smile Hancock's grab bag of scraps

Ran by my local Hancock's early this am to pick up thread and saw these bags marked $5 for scraps. Found one that looked like cottons and took it home. OMGosh!!!! Nothing below a fat quarter, some pieces had 2 and three yards! M'Liss, all good quality material.........hurrying back down to check out another bag. Check with you local and see if they have them...also had Best Press on for $4.99, got a couple of those too.....heehee.......

Good thing I haven't seen these at my Hancock's. I'd be tempted. After reviewing my list of projects I'm trying real hard not to buy more fabric.

Sounds like you hit the jackpot. Wish we had a Hancocks here. It would be nice to have a good alternative to Joann's and crappy Walmart. I used to shop them in Virginia and always found great deals on fabric.

that sure is a great deal. Hancocks does have great buys from time to time. Last week I found M'Liss flannels for 98cents/yard. It was marked $1.98 but marked down further....
