    This is the first quilt I made for mom, she is a tea pot collector who ran out of space on her shelves for more teapots, so i made her a quilt of them...i have come a long ways since this quilt so made her a new one this year

    mom doesn't see anything wrong with it either...i know it is just me, i see all the flaws ( in my minds eye) i just feel like i've come a long way in the past 3 years since this quilt so it was time for something new...

    I have only been quilting for 2.5 years too, and understand completely about being self critical...I think most of us do, from a fellow 'obsessed' quilter :lol:

    What a great way to incorporate her love of teapots to a gift of a quilt. I think you did a great job on it.

    Are the teapots applique, and if so where did you get your pattern? My mom also collects teapots and this would make a great gift.
