    Question FISH placemat

Has anyone made a FISH placemat? I received the pattern from a friend back in SC. Just wondered if anyone had a picture or some hints on how they used their scraps to make one. Also what to do for the lips and eye.
    Thanks.

If I were you, I might go to this web site and look at her current BOM of Wonderfully fishy. They are ot complicated by any means, and if you go during the month, you can get her patterns free.
I have downloaded several, and plan on making them, when I am not woking 50+hours a week.

    Good luck & happy quilting.

do you mean that the placemat is in the shape of a fish? if that is the case, i would applique/embroider the lips and eyes first. then use the birthing method to put the layers together, then turn and quilt.
