I am finished with 'Chance' and happy with myself because I actually was able to figure this girl out and sew with her. Chance is very much like a computer unless you give the proper input she really won't work. She is like new and has new spool foam pieces, new light, newly oiled and cleaned, comes with a manual I down loaded, a box of cams 16 in all and parts I purchased off of ebay and yes it does have the ducky cam and several feed dog plates. She is complete now.

There are so many cool things about this machine, it is a curvaceous streamlined beauty, the case is beautiful with a nice see through plastic cubby inside the cover, auto threader, darns, buttonholes, has two types of cams and each has to be set up and used differently, the bobbin mechanism is just FANTASTIC it winds right in the bobbin case, the bobbins unscrew apart and are see through. I purchased the after market bobbins and have had NO trouble with them.

I will say that this machine has a very large learning curve to it and reading the manual is a must. If you do not have a manual you will not be able to completely utilize all this girl has to offer. I am hoping I can rehome her to someone who has owned one before and loves them so much they want another one because I don't want to see her end up back in a thrift store. It was fun seeing what the Touch and Sews are and how they work.

Bottom line is the Touch and Sew has just too many fidgits to fuss with to make her operate for me.

Thank you. She is a 758 model. I think the 700's are in the middle of the Touch and Sew models.

I agree completely.

We have a T&S 778 and it's OK but for one thing. It ejects some of the white cams. Just pops them right off the cam holder. Other than that it sews just fine.

Did you have to replace the rubber feed dogs? What an interesting experiment those were for Singer.

No Mark, she is like new. I decided if I did need to replace the feed dog I would dremel off a layer of the old rubber and dip it in tool dip LOL Now that would have fun to try.

I bought this very same machine with my hard earned babysitting money when I was fifteen. I then sewed on it for the next eight years until I bought a new Bernina when I graduated from university. I liked the machine (my SIL is still stitching on it) but I don't think that I want another one.
