I went to the Quilt show in Yuma AZ yesterday and came home with 1.5 yards of 6 fabrics. The main one is aqua with Purple in it and than of course I found 5 more. I was just looking at the Batiks at Quilting Bee and started pulling a stack of colours together. I was not going to buy them until my friend who works at the store told me they were only 8.50 a yard. So I thought I will only buy 1 yard each. But I ended up with 1.5 yards of each. Where is my will power??? Than as I was getting them cut another lady came and saw them and took the every same fabrics. I love putting colors together.

Beautiful fabrics. Do you have a pattern in mind? Why 1/2 yard each? I am curious because I never know how much to buy when I see fabric that I love and have no pattern. This is the reason why I had so much fabric leftover from my first quilt .lol need guidance .
