Default D9P progress and a success I think.

Well I tried to form a new design by slicing the original D9P four more times, but I was not able to on my own. My friend, who has a mathematical brain ( I have not) did the hard work and came up with this. I think it is the same or very similar to nance-ell's D9P sliced and diced design she posted a while back.

The fun of it for me was that you have 2 blocks from the original 9 patch. I found the assembly was a challenge due to all the seams meeting each other and the bias edges needed light handling making accuracy difficult. I am not sure I could do a big project using this design but I have enjoyed helping work it out with my friend. She deserves all of the credit. My brain couldn't handle it.

I really like that. I'm about to start a D-9-Patch, and I'm going to try that. We always learn something new. I've made a Double D-9-Patch and liked that. Also the D-9-Patch-next generation. That was cute, too

Wow, that looks a brain challenge to me. Nicely done.

It is interesting I agree, it certainly was too great a brain challenge for me, but my friend sorted it out, I just pieced it. It's quite time consuming and I think this will be "it finished" at least for now. I have several things to make and finish so I don't want to start anything else just now.

Looks good to me. Congratulations. I'm like you and have the girlfriend that does the math.
