Default Janome foot on Juki machine?

I have a Juki 2010q sewing machine and recently started doing some quilting of tops using the walking foot that came with the machine. It seems to work ok but read online that someone recommended using the high-shank Janome walking foot on the Juki. Has anyone had experience doing this and how does it work? Also, does anyone know what to use the compensating presser foot for? I use the the 1/4" foot for all my piecing. I love my Juki but wish they had a better manual to explain things.

I did the same. It works but don't use the single stitch foot. Use the zigzag. Mine was a tad off, but the guide works from the center of foot if not needle. You can measure.
