I have not purchased any of her books and was wondering what others think about her instructions, etc.
Are they clear and accurate? or do you get befuddled, which I find myself doing more lately.
I love Civil War and 30's . . . .my 2 favorite themes. So please give me a thumbs up if you have had a positive experience.
Thanks for your input.

I have purchased several of her books and she is very concise with her instructions. I like the fact that she includes which way to press the seams in the blocks. Most of her civil war patterns consist basically of HST, squares, rectangles. Take the plunge.

I have not purchased any of her books but maybe you could go to a used book store or local library and browse thru their quilt books and find one of her books to see if you would like to follow her directions. Also, I love Civil War and Repo 30's fabrics too. We have good taste don't we??!!

If you go here on Amazon your will find that you can "look inside" most books as you can with these.

My favorite too is civil war and 30's fabrics. Scrappy Scrappy scrappy, love Carol Hopkins, Jo Morton and Kathleen Tracys books for CW small/doll quilts! Waiting to receive the new book from Temecula about quirky litttle quilts.

Thanks ladies for your input. I don't know why I didn't think of the Library as I haven't been there in several years.
I use to go all the time for Agatha Christie books, but I've bought a set of my own.
No Problem Kalamaquilts.
PPQuilter, It's nice I'm not the only one in the universe that likes civil war and 30's. I saw the book from Temecula and really need to put that on my Christmas list.
