Default panel runner for donation

Hi Quilters, this is a panel I free motion quilted on my little Brother SE350. The panel, batting, backing and enough fabric for the binding, was all donated to me for the fund raiser/auction I've been working on. This should be my last thing I donate but like hubby said, it isn't until April so who knows, I may make something else. I also have to say something about this machine I used. My daughter's boss had it and she told my daughter to give it to me. It was something wrong with it and if I could fix it, I could keep it. It suppose to sew and embroider but I discovered the emb unit didn't work. (Mine fit from my SE425 and it worked then. But before I tried the emb unit I tried to sew. I was trying to thread it and discovered the thing I call the "hammer" (what is that thing really called?) the part that has an eye and goes up and down. Anyway, thread was wrapped in and out of the eye about 5 times! I cut it out, threaded the machine and sewed like a dream. That's when I plugged in the unit and it now emb fine too, with mine, but something was wrong with hers. I told my daughter she could bring it back to her boss as nothing was wrong with the machine but just the emb unit didn't work. Her boss said keep it, she already bought another one. I said Thank you!

How nice to rescue a machine that works!

There is a lady who bought several brand new machines, one after another, and kept each one about a week and said that each was broken and then described something as wrong with the tension or that something was wrong with how to thread it. I offered to help her figure each out or even to "fix" them for her, but she said she would just throw them away. I offered to 'fix' them and donate them to people who would use them, but she refused and in the garbage they went! Some people have too much money and too little sense!! Such a waste!!

Your runner is beautiful!! Great job!!

The panel is really striking. Good for you on trouble shooting the machine. Best wishes on getting another project done in time for the charity fundraiser.
