    Default Need color suggestion

    Hoping someone can help.
I am trying to enlarge a John Deere quilt for my niece and I need a solid green and solid yellow.
The problem is no stores are open to go look.
Does anyone know of a Bella, Kona, or other solid color name that would match. It doesn't seem to be Kelly green. Put a pic of her quilt for guidance
Edited: ugh, it won't let me upload the pics, but it's a panel quilt with the plaid ( blue/green/yellow)

I think I recall that sometime I heard that John Deere had put a patent on their specific shade of green....so maybe the best you can do is "come close:

Thousands of Bolts has an on-line Bella solids color card.

couldn’t find anything equivalent for Kona. And couldn’t find the color cards in stock.

You will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Now to add an image is the paper clip icon that doesn't show in "Quick Reply" - only by "Go Advanced" or the red "Reply" button. Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button,

I didn't realize 1000 of bolts had the color chart.
I went and ordered 2 differrent greens, and the only blue that seemed close.
As long As it's close, right?
    Thanks for your help

I have had success using Pantone to match a color, then finding the closest solid to that particular Pantone. I found this for John Deere colors:

I googled (as I always do!) "John Deere green fabric" and there were several posts. Perhaps that would help you!

Try putting John Deere quilt fabric in the search box from the Fabric.com site. Lots of coordinates came up for me.

I have used dimple dots fabric line for a tractor applique. There are two different greens that might work for you.
