Default Replacement Singer hand cranks at Walmart

Very likely the cheap kind no one likes, but what a weird place to find one. https://tinyurl.com/Singer-hand-crank

At the cost of $17, it can't be made very well.

I’ve purchased reproduction hand cranks off of eBay for a similar price. They are of course not the same quality as the originals but they are quite good and fully functional. I used a little black fingernail polish to cover up the parts of the decals that I didn’t want to see.

these are probably from the same manufacturer as those found on Ebay and sewing sites. Like much of Walmarts stuff sold online it actually is shipped from a vendor, in this case Kudosale. I would have no problem ordering one here, as I've had no problems with the two I ordered off Ebay to convert two belt driven vintage machines to handcranks. No worries, and hand cranking is fun, restful, and quiet.

I've used 5 or 6 of these. They need lube and screw tightening sometimes, but serviceable.

Leonf, oh guru of all that is hand crankable: Is there any info on the size of the drive shaft in sewing machines? Like, how many of them are compatible with that spoked wheel you need to make a crank crank. Because I would like to see a hand crank zigzag machine.

    ya mean something like this.?

It is a Brother badged by some other name.. GF's daughter needed a ZZ HC and so I started looking .Had the boss and the right size shaft. Plug and play. oh maybe I lost bobbin winding but I have a sidewinder. I haven't measured the shaft, just stole a handwheel off of some Singernhandy and it fit.
She was doing a bra making class.
