Upcycled slippers!
So mom was going to get rid of these felted old sweaters she had been using for mittens, so I took her too big boxes of sweaters, found a YouTube video on how to make slippers with sweaters, and made these! They’re the warmest pair I’ve ever made!

They do look comfy and warm. I have a friend who makes mittens from wool sweaters she buys from thrift stores, felts them in hot water, lines them with fleece and hands them to homeless people or those begging on the streets. She has made dozens.

Here is the link! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdNqnkWBK3wThey run small so I went up a few sizes to get the correct fit. I made one with liners and three without. When you add the liner it makes it real thick and a little tricky to get through the sewing machine.
