Default Custom Photo Printed on Cotton Fabric

Where can I send a photo to get it custom printed onto cotton fabric? I wanted to have a photo of my daughter-in-law's mother printed onto quilting cotton to put in a memory t-shirt quilt. I want it to be a better quality than something that I could print on my printer like Printed Treasures.

A link would be appreciated. I'm not very computer literate.

Check in your local community for people who do custom T-shirt/mug/etc. printing. They can do it on a cotton T-shirt for you so it will be the same "fabric" as the other shirts in the T-shirt quilt, and you can explain that it's being used in a quilt. Our little town has dozens of people who do this kind of printing.

    Check out Spoonflower
Spoonflower - Design & Shop Custom Fabric, Wallpaper, Home Décor

There is a section where you can upload a design and have it custom printed for you. I haven't personally done this but I have seen posts on QB where people did and were pleased.

Thanks... I saw that website, but I didn't know to press "upload a design." I'm sure that's where I need to go on there.

I had some printed at a local T-shirt printing company. They could adjust the size of your photo if needed

I created a Word document with the steps for me to create in Spoonflower:Make a Collection

Design Library is on main menu -Click on top right, middle, black icon shaped like a person.

    Create a “Collection”:

Go to ‘Design Library’ and look on left side to:

    Views

    All Designs

    Collections

    Click on ‘Collections’

You will see a grey ‘plus sign’, Click to create a collection and name it.

Go to ‘All Designs’ ----you will see your uploaded pics in individual thumbnails with a box underneath.

Click ‘Select Collections’ and a drop down menu will appear with your “Collection” that you created.

(PM me if you want more help. I love Spoonflower.)

I also wrote directions to making a 30 swatch sampler that is quite economical, if interested. I found it complicated the first times, I am a write down the steps kind of person.

Most quilt shops now have the Brother fabric printer. Call around. The LQS here will print color pictures on fabric for a reasonable charge. The owner says she get more business printing pictures and custom designs to make it very worthwhile.
