Scrap patterns requested please
In two days, I spent a total of 20 hours Reorganizing my yardage. Of course, found odd pieces and some "new to me" fabric{?}
Next step is to tackle scraps that are hiding in various containers. I know how I'm going to store them...trim to 2.5, 5, 10-inch squares.
Problem is patterns. Could you guys please send me links to scrap patterns or images of patterns you've used to attack your scrap pile?
Finish my coffee, change the blade, and get back to work. OH, and turn on Downton Abby.

When I first started quilting, I did not appreciate scrappy projects. Often because they were indeed scraps and you made what you could with what you had and design sense didn't make much difference.
When the book Scrap Quilts by Judy Martin came out, it really changed my view and began to define what it is I do in quilting. This was back in the days of templates, even for things like log cabin quilts. But it showed me what was possible by fabric selection. Why use one blue when you can use 6?

You can be wild and free, or very organized and controlled and still be scrappy. One of the easier ways is to make the same blocks but with different fabrics and/or color placements.
A lot of us have albums associated with our profiles, it has been awhile since I updated mine, but you can look, especially in my "unfinished" album. But lots of scrappy projects. I think really that I work more with "collections" than scraps.

Bonnie Hunter has a very busy scrappy style, you either love or hate. My big thing is I don't think a queen sized project needs anything smaller than 2" finished -- and Bonnie goes under that -- which might be perfect for your scraps! You can spend days wandering through the various sections of her website. Here's one place to start:

Each year on the boards here we have a thread on the Bonnie Hunter Mystery -- I have volunteered to start up the thread again if no one else wants to. She gives out backstory and color sections/yardage on Halloween, the mystery itself runs from Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) to about mid-January. Is a busy time for many, but I like having something to do in the dark days of winter even if I moan and groan while doing it. Is so much fun having other people to share the ups and downs.

Check https://maryquilts.com/. She has a lot of patterns for scrap quilts.
They are a lot easier than Bonnie's quilts if you want to go that way.

... find a pattern that you want to make. If you have a humongous bunch of scraps, then choose two or three patterns. Ideally, all of the patterns need the same size of pieces, so that what you don't use in one, it's ready for the next!
There's no sense in cutting into 2.5" squares if your pattern(s) calls for 3"HSTs.
Or the pattern calls for 2.5" strips.
.... and so on for other shapes/sizes.
