a few members expressed interest in the Block of the Month activity we used to do here. I decided to revive it. If we get enough participation I'll keep it going. If there is little or no interest, I'll retire it again.

There is no charge. All the patterns recommended will be free from sites that do not charge fees or require people to sign up for memberships or anything else.

The only cost to us is our time and the fabric/tools we use to make the blocks.

The announcement: 2026 blocks of the month
The post with a link to the January block (Yankee Puzzle): https://www.quiltingboard.com/blocks...n-t327574.html

(Hmmmm ... maybe I should have included this information in the new announcement.

I made mine 6.5 inches. I have some other practice blocks I made with 30's fabric that are the same size. If possible I will make each month at this size and see what I have at the end of the year to put together.

Pretty! I made mine the 12 1/2” size, works well for placemats.
