    they had a write up the local paper about him and Guiness was to be in town that weekend to measure him I heard that he got the award,but someone told me at the dog park the other day that someone was challenging it,I have never seen him but he must be huge

    Actually Danes are not the big eaters you would think,they are big couch potatoes,and although a good walk everyday is good for them as any dog,too much exercise can be bad for thier joints,especially excessive running.they are definitely people dogs need to have their people around,they get very lonely without them,which could leave to destruction of anything they can reach,Edward can rest his head on my kitchen counters,so you really have to watch what you leave laying around
