I work at H&R Block (for the next 8 hours :D ) and our receptionist is pregnant so I made her this baby quilt. I spent the last few days quilting and finishing it... I forgot that with our last days being today, I'd have to, you know, finish the quilt to give it to her :)

The back is minky. I included a picture since I love how the quilting looks on the minky.

Also included is a picture of my quilt inspector. He's a button quail. We raised him up from a baby and he's a tame little guy, follows us around and everything

Beautiful baby quilt. Wow a quail for a quilt inspector. Now I've seen everything!

LOL! I had to laugh at your bird. It is looking at those dots like it is something to eat!
Very cute baby quilt. The minke will make it soft and cuddly for baby.

I need to get on one for my niece. She is dur in august and I haven't even thought about what to make yet.

Well, you did a good job on the baby quilt, and I am sure the Mom to be will be delighted.
Reading your commentary, I am thinking...."button quail"......izzat like a button "cat" who disposes of my buttons if I drop any??
Your little quail is ADORABLE!!! We have quail,( well, around here...none in the house) but never happened to see one like that one.
Hmmmm ..........a quilt inspector that doesn't leave hair anywhere!!! What a unique idea!!
