    Welcome to the board from Southern California!!
    There are lots of great patterns out there that you can make a baby quilt from. If you check the website for the Downy quilt for kids, www.quiltsforkids.org There are a couple of easy great patterns for making baby sized quilts.

    Welcome from Southern Illinois. The only way to learn to make a quilt is to select a pattern and jump right in and follow the directions.
