I just had a long work out struggling to get my quilt spray basted. Does anyone know if you can iron the quilt after spray basting it? The layers are smooth but I have wrinkled a few (not too badly) blocks wrestling with the thing. What do you think?
    Thanks for any insight!

I have ironed some of mine that I had spray basted and then let sit a year or so before quilting. I have pressed them and occasionally I have to re-spray the corners (probably because of sitting too long, not because of pressing)

Thank you for the info Gayle! I need to get mine done so hope I don't let it sit for a year.

I often iron mine after spray basting and haven't had a problem.

I like to iron them cuz they become stiff and easier to work with

Yep, I iron it too. In fact I'm finishing up a quilt now, and the endges gto ruffled, I pulled the bottom layer back and put it back in proper place the spray baste still held nicely and I ironed out a few wrinkles!

Thanks for all the answers! I will feel better about ironing it before I start quilting it now.
