I`m sure a lot of you are familiar with the barn quilts that are attached to the wonderful barns we have gracing our rural country side in many states. I was so thrilled when I was able to purchase a "garden quilt" at a fall festival we had in our town. It is much smaller than a barn quilt...maybe about 48 inches and is painted on a sturdy board and varnished to be able to withstand the weather. My dear husband attached it to our shed and it is perfectly beautiful. I`m going to get another one from the woman who paints them and give it to my daughter for her birthday. I know daughter will be thrilled.
