    I usually dont garbage pick, but I couldn't resist this one

    it looks like a hampster or gerble chewed the right leg a little, but thats all thats wrong with it

    I don't think this was a "garbage pick" as you call it, it was a very green thing to do - quite PC in fact, economically responsible and sound. Congrats on your new find!

    great find! If you want to mend, try a little wood spackle, apply and shape, then stain. Or , just touch up with some Old Enlidsh polish and it will not show as much. Always smart to pick up something that you can put to good use.

    I just put that part to the wall and added quilts, you cant even see it.

    I have a hutch that was stored in a shed and a squarle at the bottom, I think it just adds to the natural rustic look. Just use some old english, its a great find.

    I would call it eco-recycling. :) Much better than garbage picking. Plus, one person's junk is another's treasure.

    Good thing you were driving, my hubby would of speeded up or ran it over to use as fire wood and still called it recycling! Way to go on your part!!
