Besides the basic 61/2 in 12 and 24 in rulers I love the Quilt In A DAy flying geese rulers. They come out perfect every time.
It is worth the investment and you can get them at Joanns with coupons.
Of course a large square ruler is a must for squaring up quilts.

I LOVE the Omni Grip 8 1/2 x 24. 8 1/2 is the size I cut for all my strips to feed through the Accuquilt. It leaves 1/4 on each size for perfect strips.

Next are those E. Burns Flying Geese Rulers.

I love my 5 x 22 ruler with the lip on one end. It helps keep the ruler straight when cutting! use it for everything.

I love my O'lipfa 5" x 24" ruler. It has a lip on one end that catches on the side of the cutting mat, keeping the ruler from moving. It is great when cutting many many wof strips!

I love my 6.5 x 6.5 Creative Grids ruler. But I just bought a 9.5 x 9.5 to fussy cut a 7.5" block. I'm loving them both. Not too big, not too small - just right. The 6.5" is great to keep at the machine to quickly check block size.

They didn't have a size flying geese ruler for my size so I made my own.
