On a different thread, maybe even a different forum...or a different universe?...a gal gave a suggestion that I want to try. If you have a machine with a manual start/stop button which allows you to start the needle moving without using the foot pedal, practice using that method of running the machine...it will stay at a steady speed and reduce the stress of coordinating hand and foot. With this technique, you can also set the speed of the machine, if you have that capability, so that it not only is steady, but also runs at the speed with which you are comfortable.

Holy Hannah!! I love them both. They are terrific! Are you making more doggies? Sure would be cute with maybe doggie things like dish, leash, toys, or more different breed scattered around. It came out just great.

Boston, I'm intending to make more PP collies, have the rough and smooth varieties, and I intend to make a whole quilt of them.We have bred coolies in the past, and my SH loves them
