Hi, Jacquie ..... Glad to see someone from Scotland! Some of my ancestors came from Aberdeen in the late 1850's. I traveled back about six years ago and loved it. Stayed in Aviemore, up in the Highlands. Hope to return again before I die.

A lot of Scottish people settled in Ogden, Utah, a small city about fifteen miles from here, and there's a huge mountain to the north they named Ben Lomond. And my three girls graduated from Ben Lomond High.

You're in for a wild ride with this crowd. We have so much fun, and it's a wonderful place to pick up inspiration and new ideas. ...... Enjoy!

Hi Jacquie, I also Lived in Dunoon ( well just outside in Argyle) in the 70s. It sounds like you are having a great time with this quilting. It can only get better as a member of this board. There is always something going on and the ladies and gentlemen on here are the best around.
