I am just curious. I noticed that you purchase some bolts of fabric vs the fat quarters, etc.. Is this fabric you use all the time..your favorite??. I find myself wanting to buy a bolt of something I really like but just have not done that yet.

What an awesome sewing room. You have quite a stash. I love the treadle. I have a new home treadle. I got it for my BD. I want to get a belt for it. Just haven't had the time to go looking.

Jeannie....I do have some full bolts...I did buy because the price was right and I liked the fabric...when I make a queen size quilt it will take most of this fabric...there is usually 15 yards on a full but....but I'll get at least 10....Some of the others ar just put back on the bolt from the store....If I buy 3 yards or more I try to put it on a bolt....don't like all them folds I have to iron out is my main reason plus if I find a pattern I know will take more than 3 yards I just have to scan the room....see there is a system to my maddness

Bill'sBonBon....Thanks ....my treadle needs a belt too I think I priced them for 19.99 or 29.99 ....I still have the old belt and will see if I can repair that first...let me know if you find a belt too..

Oh wow, you have a great sewing room. That's what I aspire to someday. Right now my "sewing room" is in the living room and consists of a couple of boxes and bins tucked away under the end tables and sewing table. :? Though if I had a room like yours, not sure if I'd ever leave it! haha

Awesome room. Once my son moves all his stuff out, I can spread out more in my sewing room.
