Now, did I toss those packing peanuts out????
Of course you did - now you have a use for them! LOL You know, Murphy's Law.

Okay, so I just tried using them and no they don't stay on very well. Maybe the denser packing peanuts would be better. They work in a pinch. Personally, I would rather use safety pins. Glad I didn't spend money on pinmoors. IMHO just another thing to spill.
Thanks for the info. Perhaps an eraser, as someone above mentioned, may work. Might be worth a try. You would really need something that would not be to difficult to stick the pin in. Erasers may be too "hard"?

What about the foam cylinders and squares the kids use? Would they hold better?

I think those erasers would be more expensive than the PinMoors.

I couldn't find out how big the "Pin-Moors" are....even though they are a Great idea. I wonder if you could use the erasers like the ones you buy as a replacement eraser for the mecanical pencils...depending on the size you can get 3 to 5 erasers to a package and since they come in different sizes as far as length you could cut them in half. Also wonder if the rubber backs for earrings would work?
    Just some thoughts there.

    Have a Great Week!!

Maybe; have never seen them. I'm just not into buying anything unless I know it will work. I think I will just stick with safety pins and my basting spray now that I found it.

I wonder if the foam disposable ear plugs would work better, they're sort of dense foam. Great idea.

Probably, but then it's just another thing to buy. I was thinking along the lines of recycling something that would otherwise be thrown away, at least in my house.
