I used a double sided prequilted fabric on this one, but the bottom I have fuseable fleece on it and I just did straght line quilting on that and I put a pocket on each side of the bag as she likes a lot of pockets and I like the 2nd pocket on the bag also. I used a closer from another purse pattern on this bag aslo and when I got the lining sewn in and I turned it and then sewed the bottom of the lining, I found i had the closer part in backwards, so I took out the stitches in it and then turned it the right way and resewed it in. Not bad if I say so myself, Huggies, Fay

Hi - I just received my pattern for the Bow Tucks purse and
am starting to collect what I need to make it. Been on a search for the #987 Fusible Pellon that the pattern requires. Can anyone tell me the thickness or a substitute for this particular pellon? Stores near me don't seem to carry it. Thanks so much for your info.

Here's a tute I did. I think on one of the pages the fleece topic comes up. Lots of ideas if I remember right.

I really love your fabrics. I've made 4 of them now & need to sell these so I can justify making more. I just love the process. She is a rather plain, no frills kind of girl but she actually asked me for one when I showed them to her. They are addicting.
