Well...it's not ON my bed...but I have ordered fab for Moda's (Kansas Troubles) queen sized "Summer's End." Bought the booklet and two required honeybuns first. Wanted to see if my stash might work for balance. Only the backing, outter border and binding works though. Ordered balance this week. SO...hopefully this will be "on my bed" in a reasonable amount of time. I CAN'T WAIT!!! : - )

Are you sure that's YOUR DH? Sounds like my DH moved in with you. In other words -- same here. What is it with the "too heavy"? I like to have at least some weight of a cover over me.

I have a cherry basket on point quilt on the bed. I think it is one of the best pieces I've ever made.

We have a quilt my mother made us and gave to us this last Christmas on our bed. When I first started quilting I had wanted one so much. My mother had made one for my son and just loved it. So I had decided I could do that (quilt)one too. Anyways, much to our surprise this last Christmas This one was given to us.
But unbeknown to us at the time I had ran across the same horse pattern in a book I fell in love with and made a wallhanging for my husband and added his brands. I had showed it to my mom and I guess it was all she could do to not say anything about the one she was giving me. Though the colors are different it hangs above out bed.

    The wallhanging

The Quilt My mother made for us. I entered it in the BHQuilt Show as a surpirse for her and it received an Honorable Mention

The quilt in my avatar is on my bed, which is king-size...in this pic, it's on a queen, so it doesn't hang down as far on the sides on my bed.

I am so glad to report that I have made a king size quilt for my bed. Will post pics when I find a camera.

I currently have Longaberger comforters on all my beds(I used to sell Longaberger), but do have a quilt under each one that my DM made for me. I have plans to make a quilt for each bed after the holiday season is over when I can work on something just for us.

2 cats and one dog, no handmade quilts until they can behave themselves!
