ok purple it is - I have had a lot of fun with the borders some that I will probably use on other centers. After seeing some of the lovely borders that are being made, I guess I was just feeling like maybe I should do more. I did try repeating the pattern in the square - I agree that will be cool - but not this round - just way to busy.
Anyway thanks for your help and input. Will finish it tomorrow.

Do not despair Jackie...I am sure along the way in this year you will get to do something really fancy...BUT I do agree the center you were working on needed the simple border to keep from distracting from the center. THE PURPLE LOOKS WONDERFUL!!! No stress...I hope my next border can be simple, but if it's not so be it...The key thing is just don't stress...trust your instinct and everything will be GREAT!!! She says while chewing her nails...LOL.

Kay, I am chewing my nails too! The centre winging its way to me at the moment is a worry. No ideas from the picture in this tired old overworked brain of mine at this time. I currently have two challenges on the go, this one and another one. The second challenge has a theme – called in the movies and a shorter time frame, must be completed by the 21st February. What on earth was I thinking when I agreed to do it?

I know what it was; do everything you can while you can

Just realized seeing these dates that I still haven't received the next centre. Post is real slow for this one as it has been 11 days in transit so far. Maybe there will be a nice surprise in the post for me today?
