Amazing & beautiful quilts! As others said, the pics of the kids & their quilts are touching and heartwarming. Those may be the happiest kids in a Christmas picture I've ever seen.

What a lucky and clearly appreciative family!

    Impressive to say the least!

Lyndawn, are those beautiful children your grandchildren?

The quilts are way past gorgeous. The kids, wrapped in

their blankets, looks like a NormanRockwell painting. I really

hope that you are busting your buttons with pride.

Mine, too. And since I've "mastered" the D9P (thanks to all the great people on this board), I recognized it at once.

Those yellow, orange, and white quilts are great.

All those gorgeous kids are actually 3rd cousins of my Dh (I think 3rd). We all call all the adults aunt and uncle so to them they are my nieces and nephews. The whole family gets together on Christmas and 4th of July. That's the only time we see everyone at once. Some of them I"ll see here and there, but not all.

    thanks all.

so beautiful and so much work. How do you stay motivated? I fall in love with my projects but get so easily drawn to the next one. Is that some kind of quilters anxiety/energy? anyway, thanks for sharing all those smiles and your work is so awesome. C

I don't stay motivated..LOL I have lots of UFOs too! I had a goal set and other people knew I was making them for Christmas. I felt obligated to finish them. I also wanted to be able to work on what I wanted of my own without the guilt of leaving them unfinished for another year. I work better when I have deadlines. If I can convince myself something has to be done by a certain time, I will push as hard as possible to finish it.
