    Dh took me to lunch. STEAK! yum.

    We visited SIL. So sad! She has aged a great deal through this ordeal. I want to do so much for her but there isn't anything I can do. Have any of you been in her shoes? What blessed you? I need ideas. She loved the quilt. Her room is so bleak, they moved her to the nursing home. I'm going to take her a plant so she has something alive in her room. Next to the quilt, there was nothing that wasn't standard equipment in the room.

    Can you take a favorite picture or two--a lot of times there is a bulletin board you can pin things on- It is so nice of you to try to cheer her up and having pleasant surroundings really helps. Keep visiting, that is probably what helps the most.
    Your quilt is beautiful and it was such fun to have the "blow by blow" account. Thanks you for sharing.
