My father called me Genevieve (my first name is Jennifer), my younger sister called me Sissy or Kelpy because she couldn't say Kelly.

My brother is only 15 months older than me and they tried to get him to call me sister. He pronounced it "Sear." Some members of my family have called me that ever since.

Also, one great uncle gave every new member of the family (by birth or marriage) a nickname and he never called them by anything but their nickname. Mine was Frauline.

Oh... and when I was little (and sometimes still) my mother called me Grace because I was anything but graceful. (She also use to tell me that if I didn't stop what I was doing, I was going to skin my ignorance. LOL!)

My "uncle" used to call me 'Low Pockets" because my mom used to roll my pant legs up cuz my legs were so short and obviously my pockets rode a little lower than they should have. lol
    thanks for the memory!

My father called me sparrow because I was so tiny and had legs like a bird. 72 years old and still have the legs.

My given name is Echo. My dad started calling me Bunny when I was 3 weeks old and 60 years later I am still called Bunny. Only my drivers license says Echo.

Had an uncle who used to call me "muscles". I was very tiny and petite and he would tease me about having muscles....I didn't really. lol. My brother couldn't say my name so instead of Diane he would say Dee Dee. Still does.
