The Biblical blocks came from a book "More Biblical Quilt Blocks" by Rosemary Makhan. There were some blocks in there that I just could not figure out how to do. There are about 30 blocks in the book - I think I got it used from Amazon. I can't help you with the Night Sky quilt - that was done at a class at a quilt shop several years ago - and, of course, they had just the right fabric for the quilt. Sorry. It took me a long time to get quilt tops made and quilted for my 6 kids and 16 grand kids. Now, I also have made them for my 4 great grandkids.

Love your quilts, I like bright colors. I also made the Lewis and Clark quilt and my grandson loved it and asked if he could have it. Of course I said sure. I am glad to see someone else has made it.

I love the Lewis and Clark Quilt. I purchased the BOM kits from a Joann Fabrics in Rochester,Minn, several years ago, but just haven't gottin around to them yet. So thats a great insperation for me to dig them out and get to it. Looks great , as they all do.

The quilt in the background has a sad history. The top was made and the quilt about 1/3 hand quilted, when my good friend (creator of the quilt) died. Her husband gave me her partially finished quilts, quilt rack, and patterns. The back of the quilt is like a checkerboard -- a very difficult quilt to finish. I love the way she put the colors together. Her "trademark" was that she always had some pin dot fabric somewhere in the quilt. I found some that matched and used it for binding.

I'm going to try to upload a picture of the quilt that is waiting for the next granddaughter or gr. granddaughter that's born. It is a sunbonnet sue quilt -- I looked for years before finding the fabric to put with the sunbonnet sue blocks.

Another scrap quilt, but I think Im going to have to take it apart -- the border is really waving at me.
