I don't know the name of the pattern, but the center was 2-1/2" strips (12 or 14-wof) sewn into a tube and cut into 4-1/2" widths. Cut the seam between the 1st and last print (1st strip), cut in middle of 1 print (2nd strip), cut the seam between the 1st and 2nd print (3rd strip), and so-on.
