    Marymm,
    With all these talented ladies on this web site I'm sure ur going to get a great on how to make your quilt with these beautiful birds & colors. Sorry I can't be of much help I've just started quilting recently and have a lot to learn.
    It would be interesting to see what kind of ideas you get.

    really enjoyed those pics. someone else will have to figure out and do the quilt - I'm not anywhere near that good!!

    Ggreenridley...The white ones are egrets. The pink ones are Roseate spoonbills. I believe these egrets are Snowy Egrets. Great whites had left area. We also saw quite a few cattle egrets in breeding plummage...none in these photos. Actually there were several other herons and others at the site...It's interesting to see how they all share the same area, with nests within a few inches of each other. I'm a bit new at birding--though I have a lot in my yard--cardinals, jays, sparrows, chickadees, hummingbirds, wrens, warblers--even a couple of kinds of woodpeckers. Today I saw a robin and often we have others that pass through the area.
