    That's what I did with my avatar quilt here. I made it for my husband and it has a red print backing on it.

    I like grey very much and believe it to be a great neutral color, I just do not happen to have any grey currently in my stash.

    Some that is for a background for a quilt with a blue/gray print. Some small pieces of silver, if that counts too. Diane C

    Not a lot, but I do have some, mainly because the highschool here have the colors maroon, silver & white. I bought a lot of different gray fabrics to audition for a donation quilt I made.

    Grays are hard to find but I love them--have only one piece now and it will soon to gone :cry:

    I used a lot of grey in this wonderful table topper and it looks great with green, red, yellow etc. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-108097-1.htm
