Yea, its some scary stuff.. for the last two days Ive cleaned out my cellar/cold storage room. It's pretty big, size of a small bedroom- its where I store my canning items; Jams, jellies veggies.. Took out all the non-essentials and packed tubs of extra clothing, pillows & blankets, batteries, flashlights, candles and matches.. . I even stocked the shelves with canned good and LOTS of water..

When the storm blows over- end of week... Ill post pics..

We are under a tornado watch until 3am.. Poor Joplin..

I will promise to have my civil war's to you sooner. What was the twist again next month?

JULY: stars and stripes any particular color? or anything goes. Just stars or just stripes or combination on the same material.
Potholder question? Size of them? Quilt pattern on top?
I've never done a pot holder in a swap - look forward to it.

Hints for the rest of the year?

As for the the potholder- there is no wrong answer. Make whatever your hearts desire- any size-any color - simple or difficult design- any shape.. Have fun and be creative. Remember it needs to protect against heat so no poly filling; use heat resistant and or cotton batting, or even a towel I hear works great for the batting ..
