Ok so don't hate me when I tell you my profession... I'm a collection specialist. Translated it means that I am a bill collector. But I'm not one of those mean nasty ones I promise. I am also a full time mom to 3 kids and Nana to 5 grandkids.

I am a full time mom and I have 2 small business, I am a cosmetologist and on my days off I have a house cleaning business. I am one of a few cosmetologist who will go to the eldery at their homes and perm, cut and set their hair on my slower days .I feel like just because my clients are getting older and can no longer come to me does not mean I can forget them.Also my cleaning clients are super good to me. (and the pay is good with one in college and one in high school)I have always been able to be home when my children come from school or are sick.

Both of my daughters work for a collection agency. Neither of them are collectors though. One is a paralegal, the other a data entry clerk. Yep. It's a job that someone has to do. Sadly in this day it's a pretty secure one.

I'm a retired special education teacher. I taught severely emotionally impaired students as well as mildly mentally impaired students. I also had students with autism and some with learning disabilities. One summer I spent teaching at the juvenile detention center. I loved working with the students and have greatly missed it since I had to medically retire at the age of 55. It was a rewarding yet challenging job. The most difficult people there were the some of the staff who often acted out inappropriately. The kids were supposed to act out their frustrations. They were there to get help. I loved helping them.

I too am a retired floral designer, well you do everything in a shop. I am now all banged up from those long hours on holidays. I most enjoyed working for the funeral homes and doing family pieces. I know how hard it is and how everyone wants theirs "special". Bless you!
