My husband has gone to the LQS to get me a gift certificate for Christmas. Of course, I had to give him exact directions on how to find the shop. Using terms that he would understand, I told him that the shop was west of the Hooter's restaurant. He had no problem finding the store! LOL!!

Too cute!! Sounds like he is a keeper if he will go to fabric store with you. My DH usually starts out staying the car but the idea that he may find something inside gets him in the store before I finish. And he has some really great ideas because he is a true artist.

My mom, working in a drygoods store many years ago, asked a woman shopping for a bra "what bucket size do you want?? Very heavy set lady left in a huff.

That is too cute! When my husband walks into the quilt store looking for me. They look at him and think he is lost. I always yell, He's with me!

I once ordered egg rolls instead of egg biscuits at McDonald's.
